Java Software Engineer Remote
We are looking to hire a Java Software Engineer. The Java Software Engineer will analyze, integrate, and enhance software development for various client groups. Gather requirements from a variety of different business groups and team members. Capture and communicate technical information with audiences of varying levels of expertise. Assist in training less experienced software engineer staff personnel. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.
Basic Qualifications:
– 5+ years of experience with software application development using Java Spring Boot and JPA
– 2+ years of experience designing Web services including REST and SOAP APIs
– Knowledge of system integrations and software development life cycle including SDLC and Agile
– Ability to research, demonstrate logical analysis, and problem-solve
– Ability to collaborate in an enterprise team environment with a remote workforce
– Ability to obtain a security clearance
– HS Diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
– Experience with integration platforms such as Mulesoft
– Experience with database technologies, including Oracle, MySQL, or MongoDB
– Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
– Knowledge of CI/CD Concepts and Tools including Git, Jenkins, or Maven
– Bachelor’s degree preferred
