Principal Technical Expert Consultant

Centurion is hiring a Principal Technical Expert Consultant to support one of our clients in the Washington, DC area. This position is 100% onsite. 

Skill Requirements: 

• Provides expert technical, managerial leadership, and direct support for problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation of complex projects and programs.

Job Duties and Experience Required:

• Security Clearance: TS//SCI Clearance
• Expected labor categories: 2.0 FTE Subject Matter Expert, 1.0 FTE Principal Technical Expert Consultant Labor Categories all at the Advanced level of Labor Expertise is likely to best meet the government’s requirements,
• Conduct of Program Protection Plan Analysis
• Development of Cybersecurity Handbooks /Guidance
• Developing executive level briefings and deliverables
• Preparing policy, point papers, technical reviews, guidance, white papers, congressional inquiries, and other documents for senior- level officials
• Coordinating and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels across the Department of Defense
• Basic knowledge of missions, roles and responsibilities, and relationships across the Department of Defense
• Basic knowledge of relationships and interdependencies between IT, cyberspace operations, and cybersecurity
• Understand operational and functional requirements of Weapons Systems and Industrial Control Systems (CS) to support the Cybersecurity Risk Management Framework process
• Experience with ICS standards and regulations such as IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, NERC-CIP, and NEI 08-09
• Experience with DoD Instructions relevant to Cyber Security such as 8500, 8510, and 8530
• Ability to comprehend designs, protocols, and architecture configurations of Weapon Systems and ICS and develop strategies for comprehensive countermeasures
• Experience with COCOM level exercises and basic principles of wargaming
• Experience with NIST Special Publication 800-171 (Rev 1): Protecting Controlled Unclassified Information in Nonfederal Systems and Organizations
• Experience with DFARS 252.204-7012: Safeguarding Covered Defense Information and Cyber Incident Reporting
• Experience with DFARS 242.239-7010: Cloud Computing Services
• Experience with DFARS 252.204-7009: Limitations on the Use or Disclosure of Third-Party Contractor Reported Cyber Incident Information
• Experience supporting highly effective CWD organizations in Federal Agencies or Fortune 500 companies

Place of Performance

• 100% on-site in various Department of Defense (DoD) locations in the National Capital Region (NCR).

Education and Experience

• The candidate shall have executive level technical experience with 7 years or more of relevant experience.
• The candidate shall have a Master’s Degree or higher in related field, equivalent experience/certification in a field relevant to the specific position, or substantial equivalent occupational experience. 
• A Bachelors and nine (9) years of experience can be substituted for the Masters Degree.

• Clearance: Current  and Active Top Secret SCI Clearance
• US Citizenship is required
• Travel: < 10% (CONUS)
