We are seeking two (2) Program Managers to provide comprehensive program and project management support services for the planning, execution, and monitoring of various Federal programs and projects. Primarily, coordinate and communicate program information, track timelines, and deliverables working in a team environment across the organization.

Tasks:

(1) Develop and use a system to track and maintain all information on taskers, requests for information, projects, and other performance measures associated in the program management cycle from initial tasking to project close out.

(2) Create and maintain project schedules, tracking progress against milestones and deadlines.

(3) Coordinate with the internal OPFSM and external Indian Affairs SMEs for all bureaus/offices to stay at the forefront of tracking projects and advise senior management of performance of outputs.

(4) Perform and focus on change management within the organization, which involves preparing, supporting and advising the office on strategies to adopt and use changes to business processes, systems and technology, roles and responsibilities and structures to improve process and build effective checks and balances.

(5) Conduct a thorough assessment of program/project requirements and stakeholder needs.

(6) Facilitate project meetings and regular status meetings with stakeholders.

(7) Identify risks that could delay project progress and develop risk mitigation strategies as necessary.

(8) Prepare program/project status reports and presentations for executive review.

(9) Collaborate with the project team and coordinate resources to ensure project team members are equipped with the necessary tools and information.

(10) Provide guidance on project management best practices and methodologies.

(11) Support the implementation of project management methods, tools, and technologies.

(12) Develop tracking and reporting mechanisms to facilitate program management and project tracking.

(13) Work with the government personnel to develop and implement a communication system with existing resources in MS Teams, SharePoint and/or Tableau.

Minimum Qualifications:

(1) Demonstrated ability to manage projects, to interact effectively with others in a broad range of functional and technical backgrounds, and to handle pressures in a deadline-driven environment.

(2) Demonstrated ability to use a high degree of professional judgment and ingenuity in interpreting guidelines for application in day-to-day issues and analyses. Ability to perform problem solving of a precedent-setting nature.

(3) Proficiency in using financial systems and software applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint) for presentation of analysis and preparation of supporting documentation.

(4) Contractor personnel must have the appropriate security clearance/background check at the time of contract start date.

Place of Performance:

The primary place of performance for this task order is remote. Except for site visits (if travel is necessary), the majority of the work may be performed virtually.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and at least 4 years of experience

Travel: < 10% (CONUS)
