Position Description:

• Serve as the Senior ServiceNow application developer responsible for implementing solution design using best industry practices

• Translate requirements/stories and mock-ups into fully functional features by working closely with the team lead.

• Provide advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting a variety of difficult software problems, implementing bug fixes, and performing root cause analysis.

• Participate in discovery sessions and process definitions with team lead and other developers

• Collaborate with Junior ServiceNow application developer in implementing solution design per customer requirements and using best industry practices.

• Develop common UI components for re-use across the application portfolio, leveraging Angular JS

• Ensure code is in compliance with architectural standards and future direction

• Collaborate with UX engineers and designers to implement markup/designs


Skills Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field

• Masters or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience

• 5 years of direct development experience with ServiceNow


Required Skills:

• 5 years of direct development experience with the ServiceNow platform that includes scoped/custom application development.

• 5 years of experience in custom inbound and outbound REST and SOAP integrations.

• 5 years of experience configuring and customizing all aspects of ServiceNow – UI Actions, UI Policies, UI Pages, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Catalog Client Scripts, Catalog UI Policies, Email Scripts, Roles / Groups, Service Catalog, Reports, Dashboards, Inbound Actions and Notifications.

• 5 years of experience designing and developing ServiceNow process flows and workflows

• 2 years of Performance Analytics experience

• 3 years of experience with importing and exporting data to ServiceNow using data loads, transform maps and XMLs.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• JavaScript design patterns (AMD, etc.)

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

• Good HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Angular JS/Bootstrap 3 framework experience

• ServiceNow ServicePortal and widgets development experience

• 508 compliance understanding


Desired Skills:

• Proven experience developing ServiceNow scoped applications

• Certified Application Developer Certification

• Micro-Certification in Performance Analytics

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

• Familiarity or knowledge with older service management systems, like HESK.

• Knowledge of Responsive Design

• Experience with process flow documentation creation

Education:

• Master’s degree and 5+ years of experience in a training-related field or bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in a training-related field

• Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust
