We are hiring a Software Developer for a remote opportunity in the DC/MD/VA area.
Responsibilities:
- Be an integral part of a scrum team participating in the full software development lifecycle including requirements, design, development, QA, and implementation
- Perform application development and troubleshooting
- Understand and apply quality techniques and practices (unit testing, test automation, continuous integration)
- Participate in peer code reviews
- Contribute to technical design documentation
- Contribute to daily stand-up meetings and sprint retrospectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer or Information Science preferred, or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of software development experience in Java
- 1+ year of experience in Hibernate, Spring Boot, and MicroServices
- Working knowledge of data structures, databases and SQL
Position Details:
Clearance: Ability to Obtain a Public Trust
US Citizenship or Authorization to work in US required
Travel: < 10% (CONUS)
