Centurion is hiring a Software Developer (.NET) to support one of our clients in the Rockville, Maryland area. The candidate had to be local to the DMV and willing to commit to 1 day a week in the office (Fridays).
Responsibilities:
- Develop web applications and APIs using technologies such as C# and ASP.NET
- Be part of an agile team delivering high quality software
- Conduct unit, integration, load, and accessibility testing
- Develop design documentation
- Work closely with other team members to implement and support planned functionality
- Adhere to build-and-release schedules and strategies
- Evaluate new technologies and remain current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
- Execute other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
- 2+ years’ experience in C#, ASP.NET applications, REST/WebAPI, .NET Core, MVC
- Experience with MS SQL Server
- Experience with JavaScript libraries (e.g., jQuery, Angular, React, VueJS)
- Experience with CSS libraries (e.g., Bootstrap)
- Experience with object-oriented concepts and design patterns
- Experience in Agile software development
- Experience with Team Foundation Server as a code repository
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Experience with Cloud technologies AWS or Azure
- Experience/Knowledge in developing applications using open source stacks
- Strong presentation skills
Position Details:
US Citizenship or Authorization to work in US required
Travel: < 10% (CONUS)
